Allotment
A linocut I created which is based on some observational sketches I made at an allotment that I visited near my home in Hove, East Sussex. I enjoyed the way the shadows lay in strips across the leaves so represented this through switching up the positive/negative carving within the image.
An edition of 20 linocut prints on Okawara Japanese paper and printed using oil based relief inks, they are 30 x 30cm in size and are sold unframed. Prints will be backed with mount board and wrapped in cellophane packaging.
