Rook (second)
Lots of prints available at big discounts because of printing errors. Some haven’t registered properly, some have negative noise marks and some have had the white of the eye hand painted on.
Listed as three different options depending on the severity of the error.
A two layer reduction linocut print of a rook.
This corvid bird has a distinctive beak and a blue sheen to it’s feathers so I used blue ink for the first layer and black for the final layer so that the blue could shimmer through.
Due to the nature of the process, each print is slightly different to each other and has small imperfections.
Printed with oil based ink onto Okawara 51sgm warm-white Japanese paper
30 x 30cm
Sold unframed, this print will be backed with greyboard and wrapped in cellophane when being shipped.
