View from the Studio

£500.00

My biggest and most detailed linocut print to date, this was a piece I was commissioned to make in 2021 of the view out of the window of the persons home studio.

Out in the countryside in the South East of England, there are trees and foliage surrounding the house, and at the end of their driveway an old garage building. There are always jackdaws flying around and perching on the driveway and the brief was to include a jackdaw in the piece, making it a prominent part of the image. Perched on an imaginary branch, the jackdaw sits with the viewer looking out at the garage building.

I have made this print into a very limited edition of 10 prints, so that other bird and architecture lovers can enjoy the piece too.

Printed with oil based printmaking ink onto pure white silk Japanese paper, it measures at 60 x 90cm and will be rolled in a sturdy tube to be shipped in
